Federal Fire Service Recruitment Requirements 2024
- Firefighter
- Role: Respond to fire alarms, rescue individuals in danger, and control fires.
- Qualifications: Minimum of secondary school certificate (WASSCE, NECO, or GCE).
- Fire Officer
- Role: Oversee firefighting operations, train personnel, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Fire Science, Safety Management, or related fields.
- Inspector of Fire
- Role: Inspect buildings for fire hazards, enforce fire codes, and conduct fire prevention programs.
- Qualifications: HND or Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
- Driver/Mechanic
- Role: Operate and maintain firefighting vehicles and equipment.
- Qualifications: Valid driver’s license and relevant technical qualifications.
- Communication Officer
- Role: Handle emergency calls, dispatch firefighting units, and maintain communication during operations.

- Administrative Officer
